Richard Lorenc is the co-founder and executive director of the Liberty Markets Fund for Freedom, a community foundation recruiting small donors to free market policy groups. He also serves as chairman of the Chicago chapter of America’s Future Foundation (AFF), a networking and educational organization that develops political leadership among young professionals, as well as the organization’s National Chapter Coordinator. Richard Lorenc also sits on the board of directors for the nonpartisan Coalition to Reduce Spending, the only national organization aimed solely at advocating for reduced federal spending as a means of balancing the budget. Richard Lorenc comes with years of experience in the public policy world, most recently at the Illinois Policy Institute, where he served as Director of Outreach. There, he launched and directed the group’s Liberty Leaders volunteer program. His writing has been published in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, The Chicagoist, The Huffington Post, Gaper’s Block, the Daily Caller and others. Richard Lorenc is a 2006 graduate of Emory University, where he studied International Studies, Chinese Studies, and History, and where he played the double bass as a member of the Emory Symphony Orchestra.
